We are sad to report that Daddy was carrying Josh down the stairs on Fri evening and Daddy slipped and fell... while Daddy was able for the most part to break Josh's fall, Josh still ended up with a tiny fracture to his left leg... what they call a "buckle" fracture just below the knee...
What a lousy start to summer!
Josh ("The Chef" because when he wears his red bib with his white shirt his friends said he looked like Chef Boyardee) has to wear a cast for 4 weeks... the doctors say it should all heal fine, but it's no easy task dragging around a cast while trying to learn to crawl and walk...
As you can imagine, Daddy feels terrible and is having a hard time with this situation. Meanwhile, Josh is as happy as ever - as if nothing ever happened - crawling around and learning how to navigate his new cast. Pictures forthcoming...
